Link your accounts so that appointment, prospect, and sale data from ImproveIt360 flows into Craft as Jobs, Customers, and Appointments, and so that Craft recordings, AI summaries, and briefings can appear back in ImproveIt360.

ImproveIt360 runs on Salesforce, so Craft connects to it through an OAuth app that you create in your own ImproveIt360 org. You create the app, send us its keys, and then approve the connection from Craft.

You need a Salesforce admin in your ImproveIt360 org and an admin account in Craft to complete this process. This guide covers ImproveIt360 Classic. If your org runs on ImproveIt360 Lightning, contact your Craft representative instead.

Steps to Connect

1. Create an OAuth app in ImproveIt360

1

Open Setup

Log in to ImproveIt360 as a Salesforce admin, click the gear icon in the top right, and choose Setup.

If you can’t find External Client App Manager in the next step, your user’s profile is missing the Customize Application and Manage Connected Apps permissions. Ask whoever manages Salesforce users in your org to grant them, or to complete these steps for you.

2

Create a new External Client App

In the Quick Find box, search for External Client App Manager and open it. Click New External Client App and fill in:

  • External Client App Name: Craft
  • Contact Email: your email address
  • Distribution State: Local
3

Enable OAuth

Under API (Enable OAuth Settings), check Enable OAuth and enter:

  • Callback URL:

    https://data.craftflow.co/api/integrations/improveit360/callback/

Copy this exactly, including the trailing /. The connection will fail if it doesn’t match.

  • Selected OAuth Scopes: add these three:

    • Manage user data via APIs (api)
    • Perform requests at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)
    • Access the identity URL service (id, profile, email, address, phone)
4

Set the flow options

Under Flow Enablement, check Enable Authorization Code and Credentials Flow.

Under Security, uncheck Require Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE) extension for Supported Authorization Flows. Leave Require secret for Web Server Flow checked.

Click Create.

5

Allow your users to authorize the app

Open the new app’s Policies tab and click Edit. Under OAuth Policies, set Permitted Users to All users may self-authorize, and set Refresh Token Policy to Refresh token is valid until revoked. Click Save.

6

Copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret

Open the app’s Settings tab, expand OAuth Settings, and click Consumer Key and Secret. Salesforce may ask you to verify your identity with a code sent by email. Copy both values.

A new app can take up to 10 minutes to become active in Salesforce. If the connection in step 3 fails straight away, wait a few minutes and try again.

7

Find your My Domain

In Setup, search for My Domain and open it. Your domain looks like yourcompany.my.salesforce.com. A sandbox domain looks like yourcompany--sandboxname.sandbox.my.salesforce.com.

2. Send your details to Craft

Send your contact at Craft these three things:

  • Consumer Key
  • Consumer Secret
  • My Domain

Share the Consumer Secret the way you would share a password. Use a password manager’s secure share or another encrypted method, not plain email or chat. We’ll let you know when your integration is ready to authorize.

3. Authorize the connection in Craft

1

Open the ImproveIt360 integration

2

Approve access

Click Reconnect ImproveIt360. Salesforce opens and asks you to sign in and click Allow. Salesforce then sends you back to Craft, which confirms the connection.

Craft reads ImproveIt360 as the user who clicks Allow and sees only what that user can see. We recommend signing in as a dedicated integration user that has API Enabled and read access to all prospects, appointments, quotes, and sales, rather than a person’s own login.

Once you’re connected, Craft matches your ImproveIt360 staff to Craft users by email and then by name, and starts syncing your appointments automatically.
