# LeadPerfection

> Connect Craft to LeadPerfection.

Link your accounts so that Craft recording and AI-analysis data appears in LeadPerfection, and key deal data (dollar value, outcome, etc.) appears in Craft.

  You must have admin accounts for both LeadPerfection and Craft to complete this process.

## Steps to Connect

### 1. Getting Access in LeadPerfection

  <Step title="Log into your LeadPerfection instance" />

  <Step title="Create a new user">
    Go to **Security** > **Employees**. Click the **+** to add a new user, and enter **Craft AI** as the First Name, Last Name, and Username — then press **SAVE**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Assign a password">
    Navigate to **Security** > **Passwords**. Find the new user you created in the previous step and assign a password.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Grant API access">
    Navigate to **Security** > **User Access**. Using the search box on top, type in **Craft AI** to find the recently created user's row.

    * Click the **Pencil and Paper** icon to edit the row.
    * On the right side/tab under **Function Level Security**, change the dropdown from **LeadDetail** to **API Security**.
    * Select the following four APIs using the checkboxes, then save:
      * `GetSalesApptDetailDateRange`
      * `GetSalesApptDispProd`
      * `AddNotes`
      * `UpdateSalesApptDetail3`

  <Step title="Gather your credentials">
    For the next step, you'll need:

    * The **username** and **password** you just set.
    * Your **Client ID** — the first 4 letters/numbers found in the URL before `leadperfection.com` when you're logged into your LeadPerfection account on web.

### 2. Setting up the Integration in Craft

Email your contact at Craft with your LeadPerfection **username**, **password**, and **Client ID**, and we'll finish wiring up the integration on our side.

That's it — once connected, data will begin syncing between the platforms every hour or so. You may need to close and re-open each application to see the connection take effect.
