# Edit Job Mapping

> How to change which job or customer a recording is tied to.

Sometimes a recording gets linked to the wrong job or customer. You can fix this in a few taps.

## How to Edit

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the recording">
    Go to the [Recordings tab](https://app.craftflow.co/ai-ridealong/recordings) and click the recording you need to fix.

  <Step title="Hover over the job name">
    In the recording detail, look for the **Job** field (e.g., "12345 - John Smith"). Hover over the job name and a **pencil icon** will appear next to it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click the pencil icon">
    This opens the job search.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Search for the correct job">
    Type the customer name, address, or job number to find the right match.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select the correct job">
    Click it and the recording is now linked to the right job. Scores and insights carry over.

## When This Happens

* Rep selected the wrong customer or job when starting the recording
* Craft's auto-match picked the wrong job — Craft matches based on time, date, location, and user, but sometimes gets it wrong

  Only Admins and Managers can edit job mappings. Reps cannot change this after recording.
